PELE READING · READING COMES ALIVE

Stay the parent, not the reading teacher.

Practice can be more supported, and family time can feel less like another reading lesson.

Made for your home. And your family.

YOU’RE THEIR PARENT. KEEP IT THAT WAY.

More reading practice.
Less managing it.

Encourage without correcting every word. PELE supports the practice, so you can focus on being there for your child.

  • Guided practice, with a fluent voice to follow.
  • A routine that fits around your family.
  • See practice and progress over time.

IS THIS YOUR CHILD?

They can read. But it still takes effort.

  • Slow, stop and start reading.
  • Skipped, guessed or misread words.
  • Better understanding when someone else reads.
  • Reading feels frustrating or exhausting.

These signs are not a diagnosis. PELE is designed for children with a reading foundation who need guided fluency practice. Talk to a professional when you have concerns about decoding, language or dyslexia.

A CLEAR PICTURE BEFORE YOU START

Support, with clear expectations.

Every plan includes

  • Guided reading-fluency practice
  • Personalized reading experience
  • Stories matched to level and interests
  • Reading progress tracking
  • Parent progress dashboard
  • Reading assessment

Who it suits

  • Children who already have a reading foundation
  • Slow, stop-and-start readers, including children with dyslexia
  • Children who skip, guess or misread words
  • Children who understand more when someone else reads
  • Families ready for consistent guided practice

Who it does not suit

Children who have not yet learned letters, sounds and foundational decoding need direct foundational instruction. PELE is not a one-off fix or a substitute for professional assessment and specialized support. It needs regular practice over time.

Consistency, not a quick fix

The original English FAQ recommends at least 1 hour per week. You can split practice across the week. Fluency improves gradually and each child’s pace differs.

The initial reading assessment helps establish a starting point; it is optional and can be completed later. A fluency assessment is not a dyslexia diagnosis.
